Fibbit: Impostor Word Game
Everyone knows the word. Except one of you.
Everyone knows the secret word, except the impostor. Who is fibbing tonight?
Free on Android. Not on Google Play yet: check back soon.

The video loads from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press play.
The party word game for 3 to 12 players on one phone. Everyone secretly gets the same word, except the impostor, who has to fake it. Take turns giving one clue each: clear enough to prove you know the word, vague enough not to give it away. Then point at the fibber!
Your host is Fib, a rabbit in a top hat and monocle who loves suspense. He runs the night on a velvet stage: who starts, whose turn it is, the count to three and the big reveal, with a drum roll.

The impostor sees no word at all and has to bluff from the clues.

The impostor gets a close word (beach or pool?) and does not even know they are the impostor.
Everyone answers a question out loud, but the impostor got a different one. 72 pairs of questions.

Murder at the Mansion, Spies at the Embassy and Aliens Among Us, each with its own story and words.
Fib lights a hidden fuse on the hot card. Say a word for the category, tap Pass, hand the phone on, and don't be holding it at the bang! Classic, Letter, Questions chain and Speed, with 3 lives or fewest burns. Unlock it with a short ad or Premium.
One phone each, no passing around: one phone creates the room and the others join on the same Wi-Fi or nearby. Or play online with friends using a room code, on a voice call.

12 hand-written categories: food, animals, places, jobs, objects, sports, films and TV, nature, school, holidays, kids, and a spicy pack for adults (off by default).
Words you already played are remembered, so none comes back before its pack is played through.
1, 2 or a random number of impostors, 1 to 3 clue rounds, timers on or off.
Add names in seconds, with a colour and an avatar each. Your group is ready for next time.
Points every round, a scoreboard and the champion of the night. Share the result with your group.
Fib speaks on the table with your phone's own voice. Turn it off in Settings if you prefer.
Fib dresses up for Halloween, winter, New Year, Valentine's and Easter.
Plays offline on one phone, in English, Portuguese and Spanish. No cards to print, no accounts.

The rabbit in a top hat and monocle who hosts the night, and knows who is lying. He adores suspense, a good drum roll and a dramatic reveal.
Fib's tiny brass wind-up robot, who reads out the names and keeps the night ticking along.
A velvet parlour magic show: sly brushed swing, walking bass, pizzicato, muted trumpet and vibraphone. When the table argues and votes, it turns tense, with a heartbeat kick, a ticking pocket watch and trembling low strings.
Yes, it is free on Google Play. There are two optional one-time purchases: one removes the ads between rounds (about 2.99 EUR), and Premium (about 4.99 EUR) removes all ads and opens every locked pack and themed night. No subscriptions.
Five packs start locked: Films and TV, Holidays, Spicy, Spies at the Embassy and Aliens Among Us. Open each one for good with a short ad you choose to watch, or all of them at once with Premium. Ads only show between rounds, never in the middle of play.
3 to 12 players. You can play on one phone passed around the table, or with one phone each in Several phones.
Yes. One phone needs no internet at all, and Several phones works on the same Wi-Fi or nearby. Only online rooms with a room code need a connection.
Yes, online with friends: one person creates a room and shares the code. Get on a voice call (WhatsApp, Discord...) to say your clues and argue about the impostor. There is no matchmaking with strangers.
English, Portuguese and Spanish, with words written for each language.
Android phones, through Google Play.
Fibbit is rated PEGI 12 and ESRB Teen, for mild innuendo and crime references in some words. It is made for teens and adults aged 13 and over. The Spicy pack is for adults, locked and off by default.
No account and no sign-up. Player names stay on your phone. The game uses a random install ID and how you play to improve the game, error reports to fix bugs, and the advertising ID and approximate location for ads. In online rooms, names, words and votes pass through our relay and are not kept. Fib's voice uses your phone's text to speech: no microphone, no recording. Data is encrypted in transit, and you can ask us to delete it.
