What is Twistream?

Tap a tile to turn it. Line up the pipes so the flow runs from the source to every target with no leaks, then watch it race through the whole path: the flowers bloom, the town lights up, the machines start to puff.

Meet Dot, the otter plumber in a yellow helmet, wrench always at hand. Five worlds, each with its own twist, and boards that never run out.

How to play

  1. Tap a tile to turn it a quarter turn.
  2. Connect the source to every target: every flower, every house, every machine, every crystal.
  3. Leave no leaks. Padlocked tiles only turn once the flow reaches them; fixed tiles are always right.
  4. Solve with few taps for up to 3 stars, and replay any level to earn more.
  5. Finish 20 levels of a world to open the next one.

Meet the cast

Dot

Dot

The otter plumber in a yellow helmet, wrench always at hand: water to the flowers, power to the houses. Dot cheers every flow and frets at every leak.

The music

Each world has its own song: a lilting garden of marimba, flute and kalimba; dusk in town with swung electric piano and brushes; quirky factory works with synth bass, clanks and steam; a glassy lab of bell arpeggios; and a rumbling volcano of taiko drums and a low drone.

Questions and answers

Is Twistream free?

Yes, it is free on Google Play. There are two optional one-time purchases: one removes the ads between levels (about 2.99 EUR), and Premium (about 4.99 EUR) removes all ads and makes the helpers free every day, up to a daily limit. No subscriptions.

Are there ads while I play?

Never during a board. Ads between levels are rare and only show at a natural break, when you leave a finished level. Helpers like hints and the wrench come after a short ad that you choose to watch.

Does it work offline?

Yes, Twistream plays fully offline.

How does the puzzle of the day work?

Every day there is one new board, the same for everyone, from a different world each day. Solve it on consecutive days to keep your streak going.

Do the levels ever run out?

No. Every world goes on forever, with boards made for you and a known solution, from 4x4 up to 7x9.

Which languages does it support?

English, Portuguese and Spanish, with German, French and Italian arriving in the next update.

Which devices can I play on?

Android phones, through Google Play.

Who is it for?

It is made for players aged 13 and over who like relaxing logic puzzles. There is no violence: the lava only spills over tiles and nobody gets hurt. The official age rating is shown on Google Play.

What data does the game collect?

No account and no sign-up. The game uses a random install ID and how you play to improve the game, error reports to fix bugs, and the advertising ID and approximate location for ads. If you sign in to Play Games, a pseudonymous player ID, and a device token for reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and can be turned off.
