Hoot is an owl photographer with a red scarf, a retro camera and a sharp eye for the perfect moment. Every photo starts with a brief: the picture you need to take. Then the scene comes alive, and only for an instant will it look exactly like the brief.
People stroll by with hats, umbrellas and balloons, pigeons hop between perches, a bus stops, ducks swim, kites fly and crabs scuttle. Owls watch without blinking, and so will you.

One photo a day, the same for everyone. Can you catch it on the first pass?

90 seconds to take as many good photos as you can.

Scenes never run out, in four lively places: a town square, a park, a beach and a market.
Your best shot of every scene is kept, so the album grows with your eye.
Halloween pumpkins, snow, New Year bunting and Easter eggs show up in their season.

There is no account, and we never ask for your name or email. To show ads and learn how the game is played, it uses an advertising ID, a random install ID, game events, error reports and an approximate location that the ad network works out from your IP address. If you use Google Play Games, a pseudonymous player ID is used too. Data is encrypted in transit and you can ask us to delete it.
No stress. Every scene loops, so the moment always comes back. You score a little less on each later pass, so the first one is the one to aim for.
Your photo is compared with the brief: where everyone is and which way they face. You see how alike they are in percent, and 90% or better earns three stars.
